The FESTIVAL FRINGE FORTNIGHT (FFF) will run from – Friday, 5th October to Sunday, 21st October inclusive to complement the run up to and period of the Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival 2018

- Hand & Heart - Serving food from 12-9.30 and bar food til late. (Cheeseboards way into the night!)

- The Angel - from Friday, 5th to Sunday, 21st October - Serving food from 12.00-noon to 10.00pm. Classic pub dishes made from locally sourced produce, ever changing specials throughout the Festival Fringe Fortnight

- Bunkers Hill - Food will be available all weekend of the NRHBF18 weekend, and both of our FFF Tap-Takeover-Weekend's, courtesy of the Secret Pizza Co.

- The Canal House - Nottingham's famous canal-side watering hole is cooking up a collection of specials for the Festival Fringe, all created with the aid of one special ingredient: beer! The FFF dishes will be up on the specials board, so venture inside and see what's on offer.

- The Kean's Head - Monday, 8th and Monday, 15th October : Tuck into a homemade pie, washed down with pint of Castle Rock's Harvest Pale, for just £10.95 from 5pm. A selection of meat, fish and veggie pies are on offer.

- The Lincolnshire Poacher - Wednesday, 10th and Wednesday, 17th October : Tuck into a pie and a pint of cask beer for £8.95, served until 9pm. Then finish off your night by enjoying live music from the Old Nick Trading Company.

- The Poppy & Pint - Wednesday, 10th and Wednesday, 17th October : It's flippin' fantastic burger night at the Poppy. Visit for a burger and a drink for just £9.95, between 5-9pm.

- The Stratford Haven - Thursday, 11th and Thursday, 18th October: It's burger night at the Strat. Choose from beef, chicken or veggie with any two toppings from the menu, served until 9pm for £9.95.

Cave Tours (new for 2018)

- New Castle - During the Festival Fringe Fortnight cave tours will be available. The caves have only recently been excavated and this will be the first public opening. They include the area where brewing took place in the 17oo's.
As the caves are below the pub cellar sensible footwear is essential.

The Chemistry of Beers (new for 2018)

Come along and join us for an interactive evening exploring the chemistry of beer and alcohol. Enjoy a drink at Canalhouse and get the chance to see brilliant and bizarre scientific experiments all about the chemistry of your favourite drinks. You will also get the chance to hear scientists from the University of Nottingham talking about about their research into all things alcohol. Don't worry though, you don't need any previous knowledge! To top it all off, in between talks from researchers, we will be hosting a alcohol-related quiz - so get a team together for your chance to win Nottingham Beer Festival t-shirts, Castle Rock Brewery beers, and much more! Cinema Screenings (new for 2018)

Alongside our Café bars, Broadway also boasts 4 cinema screens showing an eclectic mix of latest Box Office films, foreign language cinema, cult, independent and Access screenings (for those with sight or hearing disabilities, dementia, parent & baby friendly). We allow our guests to take their drink (alcoholic or not) into the screening to enjoy at the same time, should they wish.

Curry Nights

- The Bread & Bitter - Monday, 8th and Monday, 15th October: From 5pm enjoy Curry Night at the Bread & Bitter. The chefs cook up authentic Indian and Pakistani dishes using freshly ground spices, and offer a range of curries to suit all tastes. Curry, rice, naan and a drink are included for just £8.95.

- The Poppy & Pint - Tuesday, 9th and Tuesday, 16th October are Curry and Quiz night at the Poppy, where you can enjoy a homemade curry and a pint for just £9.95, from 5pm. At 9pm the quiz commences, with beer and cash prizes for the winner. Entry is £1.

- The Stratford Haven - Join the Strat on Monday, 8th and Monday, 15th October for Curry Night. Tuck into a homemade curry, served with aromatic rice and coriander naan, with a pint of Castle Rock beer for just £7.95. Served 5pm-9pm.

- The Vat & Fiddle - Tuesday, 9th and Tuesday, 16th October are Curry Night at the Vat. From 12noon until 8pm, enjoy a curry and a Castle Rock pint for just £8.25. Veggie options are always available, and your drink can be any pint of cask ale!

- The Willowbrook - Thursday, 11th and Thursday, 18th October are Curry Night at the Willowbrook. Choose any curry and pair it with a pint of Castle Rock beer, just £9.95.

- Vat & Fiddle - Friday, 12th – Saturday, 13th October the Vat and Fiddle is hosting its own Mini Warm-Up Beer and Cider Festival, with Acoustic dream Girl & The Stone performing live from 7pm on the Friday, and Steve McGill and his guitar playing from 3pm Saturday,. Featuring some of their favourite and most popular CRB and guest years from so far this year – 20 Cask/ 4 Keg /6 Cider

- The Canalhouse also offers one of the widest real cider ranges in the city, with up to 13 bag-in-box ciders and some on tap. Plus, their bottle and canned beer selection is edging towards a whopping total of 300, alongside a respectable 6 cask ale hand pulls and 10 craft in keg beers.

The main bar will have six handpulls dispensing all of landlord Edd's favourite beers from across the East Midlands and beyond while the Nottingham Brewery NRHBCF unofficial "Spill-over bar", usually situated at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, stocking a dozen or more local cask ales NOT available at this years NRHBCF18

- The Fox & Grapes - Opening hours will be extended for the duration of the Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival: Wed 17th- Sat 20th, 11am – 2am.
